Faith Builders 2012
Dear FaithBuilders and Guests,
We are certainly excited about 2012 for our class. In January this year we heard Dr. Gilbert preach from the book of Daniel and stated that those who are strong “know God”. We also heard Pastor Reilly remind us of the story of the Good Samaritan we were challenged to know and care for one another. We are taking these as our challenge this year. It is our desire to first of all grow in our knowledge and experience with God and secondly know and care for one another.
Our teaching opportunities will be structured around knowing God and understanding His word. We will learn about the Bible itself as a book, about people that met Christ and became transformed, we will learn about the many attributes of God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. By the end of this year we hope to all be in a different chapter of our story as Christians. We invite you to give it every effort to actively seek the Lord this year.
We have also had several couples volunteer to take on our activities this year. This team has already begun planning new activities and reshaping some previous ones. In February we will have a Wally-Ball and Dinner activity, In March an Easter Egg hunt family day, and our Marriage Encounter will be following in May. We have an entire year of events scheduled. You are welcome to join us in the planning.
